Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our facilities across Ann Arbor. This position is critical to ensuring smooth daily operations by installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond quickly to equipment issues, and assist with fabrication and janitorial tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment while performing preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose problems by observing equipment operation and dismantling machines to replace defective parts.
- Inspect instruments and equipment to determine part replacement requirements.
- Maintain inventories of parts and supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Train production staff on routine preventive maintenance procedures.
- Provide mechanical maintenance support through clear communication and responsiveness.
- Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing data on repairs and trends.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following regulations and company policies.
- Support CGMP certification by performing necessary maintenance and compliance tasks.
- Assist with janitorial and general facility maintenance duties.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a first-shift, full-time position based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The role requires collaboration with production and quality teams to maintain equipment efficiency and compliance.
