Job Description  

The Facility Custodian is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, appearance, and general safety of the common areas within the facility, including the restrooms, offices, and kitchen. They work with a minimum of supervision to ensure his or her assigned areas are maintained in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition by performing various tasks using the necessary equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate for this position has at least one year of custodial/janitorial experience that includes knowledge of basic cleaning supplies and equipment and safety. They must be committed to the customers, reliable to his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual.

Responsibilities  

  • Cleans and sanitizes restrooms/common areas using established practices and procedures 
  • Maintains sanitizing standards and cleanliness of the dealership areas 
  • Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies  
  • Completes any reports or logs 

job requirement

Requirements  

  • Custodial experience preferred 
  • Available to work 9am-5:30pm
  • Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices 
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, and lift heavy objects as needed 
  • Able to work Monday through Friday, 8 hour days

  • Quality Control: Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Working knowledge of state and local regulations and guidelines
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony.

  • Can stand or sit for long periods of time depending on the task.
